A quick intervention by personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) was all it took to rescue hiplife music pioneer, Reggie Rockstone’s Django Bar from a fire disaster on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

The fire reportedly burned the roof of the bar in the early hours of Wednesday, when the late DJ Rab Bakari’s memorial service was still going on.

Reggie Rockstone, confirmed the account, saying that the fire could have been a horrible one if it hadn’t been for the quick intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service and the presence of certain customers.

He indicated that even though the roofs were razed by the fire, there were no casualties and the bar has resumed operations while the affected parts are being fixed.

Singer, Efya, was among the first to announce the unfortunate incident.
