Two-time Grammy nominee, Rocky Dawuni, says he feels greatly honoured to have his name in the records of the internationally revered American awards scheme.
The Ghanaian reggae artist was speaking in an interview with blogger, Ameyaw Debrah, who asked for his opinion about the Grammys
According to him, the Grammys is a scheme to honour high excellence in music globally, and thus African musicians named in the list of nominees must be proud of their achievement.
Rocky Dawuni was recognized one of the most outstanding Global Albums of the year by The Grammy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles in 2022. As a result of his 2020 EP, the Voice Of Bunbon, Volume 1, Rocky Dawuni has been nominated for this coveted prize in the music industry.
It was Adina’s second Grammy nomination, after his first, which was for the album Branches Of The Same Tree, which was received in 2015.
