Talk to a dentist; John Dumelo launches new health campaign with missing tooth

Actor, John Dumelo has introduced a new public campaign to create awareness about the importance of oral health.

In a tweet to his over 1.7 million followers on Twitter, the 2020 parliamentary contestant for Ayawaso West Wuogan constituency in the Greater Accra Region, shared a photo of himself with one of his incisors missing.

John Dumelo also shared some interesting statistics about dental care in Ghana in his caption:

According to him, only 4 per cent of the total population of the country have visited a health facility for oral care in the last 4 years.

About 96% of the Ghanaian population have not visited a dentist 🏥👨🏽‍⚕️in the past 4years. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
