Veteran hiplife artiste, Tinny Aletse, feels that true musicians do not abandon their craft.
According to him, music is a passion-driven craft that keeps people going, therefore anyone considering quitting certainly never had the enthusiasm to begin with.
“I never get the thought of quitting. Every day I am singing. If I am not singing out loud, I am just doing that within me. It’s my talent. I always say that when I hear a musician say they are retired, I don’t think they’re really serious because if you’re a musician, you can’t stop doing music,” he said.
Speaking on Y FM last week the ‘Aletse’ rapper disclosed that he has recorded several singles and collaborations which are yet to be released.
Tinny was one of the main artistes introduced by Hammer of the Last Two in the early 2000s after the success of the label’s first artiste, Obrafour.
With a career spanning over two decades, Tinny is better known for hit songs like Anaconda, Makola Kwakwe, Ringtone, and others.
