This weekend saw one of the biggest events on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
It was the 5th edition of the 3Music Awards, held on Saturday, March 28, 2021.
One of the highlights of the awards ceremony was Black Sherif’s performance. It was epic, electrifying, and a great sight to behold.
As the opening act of the show, Black Sherif brought fire and rain to the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
Doing songs like his yet-to-be-released ‘Kwaku Traveler’, his popular Sermons, and ‘Rainful’, Black got charged up in a beautifully choreographed act, with water falling on him on stage.
His performance has been described as one of the best to have been staged by a Ghanaian act, in recent times.

There were other performances from Camidoh, Kelvyn Boy, Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Cina Soul, among others.
Black Sherif won several awards, including Song of the Year with KiDi, winning the overall Artiste of the Year award.
Despite the technical hiccups that marred the flow of the show, a lot of people have commended the organizers for the spectacular sets and awesome concepts for artistes’ stagecraft.
