American comedian Chris Rock got smacked in the face when he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head at the Oscars.
This did not appear to go over well with Jada’s husband Will Smith.
While presenting the award for best documentary, Rock made a joke about Jada being in G.I. Jane because of her shaved head.
The camera cut to Pinkett Smith, who rolled her eyes as she sat next to Smith.
Smith then took to the stage to slap Rock. Yes, it was a resounding slap!
Although it appeared to be a joke at first, Smith returned to his seat and yelled at Rock, “keep my wife’s name out of your mouth.”
For those who don’t know, Jada has been open about her struggle with alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that leads to hair loss.
