Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, surely has a reason to jubilate after Ghana secured a spot in the upcoming football World Cup, which is slated to take place from November 21 to December 18 in Qatar.
Ghana’s Black Star triumphed over the Super Eagles of Nigeria on March 29 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja after they held the Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw, giving them an advantage thanks to FIFA’s away goal rule.
Mr Dumelo had told his followers in a tweet that the Nigerian national team had no chance against Ghana in the match on Friday, March 25.
The actor implied that the Super Eagles would not be able to win the game.
In the case that they do, John Dumelo stated that he will walk barefoot from Accra, Ghana’s capital city, to Lagos, Nigeria’s capital city, a distance of 463 kilometers.
John Dumelo also announced that he will embark on the journey with some of his farm produce on his head.
“Super Eagles, my foot!” John Dumelo wrote.
The first leg which took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, March 25, 2022 ended in a goalless draw.
