Black Sherif has released his first single for the year, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ months after establishing himself in the music industry with the 1st and 2nd Sermons in 2021.
The song, produced by Joker Nharnah, talks about the writer’s struggles and his journey to making his dreams come true.
On ‘Kwaku The Traveller’, one could hear pain and determination in Black Sherif’s voice as he states that he’s on a mission to inspire, change people’s minds and shine a light on all of those around him doing the same.
With a vocal range like no other, Black Sherif’s music falls out of any box it’s put in, cutting across drill, highlife, afrobeats and more.
Born and raised in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, his cult following is now spreading across the globe as the local and national scenes in his hometown make headlines around the world.
Prior to his successful Sermons in 2021, he had already released ‘Money’ and ‘Destiny’ in 2020.
Since emerging onto the scene in 2019, Black Sherif has become known for his honesty, relatable lyrics and his unorthodox flow and voice.
