Hiplife artiste, Skrewfaze, says he is proud of his accomplishments in life as his career in music has been profitable so far.
According to the veteran ragga star, a career in music is more financially rewarding than the teaching profession.
He made the comment during his performance at Afrik Gardens in Dansoman, Accra on April 1, 2022, which was attended by his mother.
He said, even though his mother forced him to go to school, he was more interested in recording music.
“Clap for my mother ‘Auntie Felicia’. She used to beat me because I didn’t want to go to school. She tried her best to make me go to school, but I said ‘no’ . I wanted to sing Gbalagaza. But after everything, I am wealthier than my school’s head teacher.”
Screwfaze said he was severely punished by his mother for truancy and exhibiting a lack of interest in school education.
