Former Black Star player, Odartey Lamptey, will be able to take possession of his East Legon home from his ex-wife, according to an Accra Court.
The national hero has been renting since 2014, when his ex-wife took the home following their divorce in 2013 after a DNA report revealed that all three children in the marriage were not his biological children.
Despite his former wife’s refusal to leave the premises following the judgement, Odartey indicated that he will be returning to the house tomorrow.
Following the divorce, Lamptey gave up his five-bedroom Dome home and paid 400,000 cedis in alimony to his ex-wife, although Ms. Gloria Lamptey claimed she preferred the East Legon House.
Odartey was granted permission to take back his home by the court in a recent ruling on March 2, 2022.
