It’s been fifteen years since the Lynx Entertainment record label stepped the threshold of the Ghanaian music industry.
A ceremony was held yesterday at label’s office in Accra to launch activities to mark the 15th anniversary celebration.
Lynx Entertainment, will in tandem with this, release an album featuring all the past and present musicians that have worked with the record label.
There shall also be a concert later in the year for this celebration.
Recounting how he struggled to get into the music industry, Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment mentioned how his mother, upon realising the potential he had, used her teaching salary to get him a loan to buy equipment for his recording studio.
“She used her teacher’s salary to go and take a loan and bought equipment. I was in tears because it was crazy,” he said.

Richie announced that as the company grows it has expanded its operations by establishing the Lynx Group of Companies which comprises the talent management wing, a recording studio component and the Tigon Studios which will handle video productions.
They have also signed new artistes including Adina, Boy Jake, and other Showbiz personalities.
Some artistes that have passed through the stables of the Lynx Family are OJ Blaq, Zigi, Eazzy, MzVee, Asem, DopeNation, among others.
So, are you ready to see a concert that probably features the entire Lynx Family? Let’s wait for it!
