The Dreamer’s Hub at North Legon was last Sunday lit with unspeakable excitement as people from various walks of life showed up for the official launch of the Silver anniversary celebrations of Relevant Achievers Impacting Nation.
Also known as Rain Foundations, the international missions-based organization boasts of twenty-five years of Impacting thousands of people the worldover through events, mentorship, charity, books, and outreach programs.
Taking their turns to address the guests on achievements of the organization and plans for the anniversary celebrations, leaders of the organization constituted of various professionals sustained the undivided attention and interest of their audience. George Kingsley Acquah ESQ, Global President of Rain Foundations and a law lecturer hinted that the organization had a rich package of programs, projects and products for their nine-month anniversary celebrations.
Madam Gifty Selasie, President of Rain’s Worldwide Actualization Project and a consular officer at the Norwegian embassy also outlined plans to achieve international win-win partnerships.
Squadron leader Ben Appau, leader of one of the organization’s networks (AURA) revealed that the founding President of Rain, Raphaelle Antwi – a celebrated author of 58 books has a special project to mentor, brand and publish twenty-five, new writers, this year as part of the anniversary celebrations.
A delegation of the ’94 year group of Achimota Basic School was also present to honor the occasion and to celebrate with the founding President of Rain who is an old student of the school. The President of the group, Mr. Nana Agyei Blackie commended Author Ralph Antwi for his good works and assured the audience of their continual support.
The cutting of a special anniversary launch cake, popping of wine amidst fireworks and music brought the cocktail event to a successful climax.
