Nana Otafrija pall-bearers from Ghana, whose viral meme was bought for 1,045,409 dollars, have announced that they have allocated 25% of the money to victims of the Ukraine crisis.
Announcing the donation in a video, Benjamin Aidoo, leader of the group, said a decision has been made to send 25% (over 250,000 USD) from the total amount they received, to help a charitable cause in Ukraine.
We want to announce that we will transfer 25% of the funds from the sale of our meme at the NFT auction to the Ukrainian charitable foundation, Come Back Alive’, to support Ukraine and its heroic people.

Over the weekend, 3FMusic announced their acquisition of the meme via its Twitter handle, stating that it is one of the top meme auctions ever conducted and that the company feels proud about its achievement in winning the bid.
A UAE-based firm, 3FM, won the bid to own the viral coffin dance by Nana Otafrija pallbearers from Ghana.
This was after the popular meme was auctioned online as an art piece for interested individuals and firms to buy.
The official Coffin Dance has finished at a groundbreaking 327 ETH ($1,045,409). This is historically now one of the top meme auctions and rightfully deserved. Congrats to @nanaotafrija for joining us and @3fmusic for collecting this fantastic piece ⚰️✨ pic.twitter.com/tOhsL6BpQR

3FM, though unknown to many Ghanaians, seem to be a big player and investor in arts in the Middle East.
On Twitter, the company is described as “one of the best and well equipped music studios in Middle East.”
3FMusic is also described as pioneer in providing top of the class services for anything related to sound.
