One can only admire the level of creativity exhibited by Kumawood actors Mr. Beautiful and Big Akwes, which saved the night during the Passion Night Easter drama held at the National theatre on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
The two actors kept their cool and turned what could have been a disgraceful situation to a perfect end to their Easter-themed play, dubbed Journey To The Cross, following an alterction between fellow actors, Salinko and Mbebusem.
Mbebusem, who played Jesus in the play, had stood up to retaliate after Salinko (playing the role of a member of Pilate’s court) slapped him twice.
The two were escorted to the back of the stage while their colleagues covered the situation up with some superb display of professionalism.
