Despite Company Limited, owners of Okay FM have responded to recent news about a seeming feud between top presenters, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese and Afia Pokua aka Vim Lady.
Kwame Nkrumah, the host of the morning show of the Accra-based station, launched an attack on Afia Pokua, on his live radio programme together with two of his colleagues (Kwame Amoh and Maame Biama Kwafo).
They expressed their displeasure about why Afia Pokua would be away on leave and be hosting her political show from outside the country, via zoom.
They warned her to show up at work within the next 2 weeks or risk dire consequences.
However, according to a new statement issued by Despite Media, the comment made by Kwame Nkrumah Tikese was his personal opinion and not the position of the station.
The statement also mentioned that the management was aware of Afia’s leave and sanctioned the zoom model of the show.
They added that the issue is being addressed to resolve the differences between the two individuals.
