‘Ayigbe’ Edem thinks Ghanaians are not supporting rap artists as they used to during the 2000s and 2010s.
According to him, rap music, which dominated the airwaves for almost 2 decades, is currently losing its relevance, thus making rappers go broke.

According to him, his new rap songs are no longer earning him enough revenue like his old tunes.
“I never got compensated for my rap tracks. It was not because of rap that I gave my support. ‘Nyornuviade’ is my most popular tune… According to him, the most profitable songs are his “Over Again” song and “Koene,” he said in an interview with Andy Dosty of Hitz FM.
He also blamed radio stations and DJs for their lack of interest in promoting Ghanaian rap music the same way the do for other genres.
