Captain Planet, is not happy with the colours Black Sherif wore to the 2022 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre over the weekend.

Adding his voice to the VGMA conversation, the former member of the hiplife group, 4×4, advised younger artistes to pay attention to business dynamics to avoid making mistakes which could hurt their relationship with corporate organizations.

According to him, Black Sherif, as a main artist of the night, should not have worn yellow, which is the colour of the headline sponsor (Vodafone Ghana’s) main competitor, MTN.

He also said that KiDi, who took the ultimate award of the night, erred when he expressed his appreciation to MTN at the event.

Read his tweet:

The Telcos are in secret competition with each other so my bro kidi next time don’t thank Mtn on vodafone’s platform they don’t like that.

Blacko next time don’t wear yellow on vodafone’s platform that’s their competitor’s color. . Take this advice & thank me later. Congrats

Captain Planet surely knows what he is talking about, as his wife, Uche Ofodile, was once Head of Vodafone Ghana and now CEO of MTN Benin.
