Ghanaian business mogul, Freedom Jacob Caesar also known as Cheddar, has said that he has plans of collaborating with the Forestry Commission of Ghana to establish a zoo in Ghana.
“I brought experts from outside to create a safety cage for these animals, so they don’t become dangerous to the public, and so that is why I have them with me. But not to say that this discussion hasn’t been going on with the forestry commission. We are trying our best to come together to open a good zoo in Ghana,” he said.
He said he does not intend to harm people with his tigers, but to boost tourism in Ghana.
“I wanted to go into the Safari World by making sure that Ghana becomes the first country in the whole of West Africa, East Africa, and Central Africa, except for South Africa, that has these animals,” he said.
This comes after some residents of Wonder World Estates, Avenue Lincoln near the British High Commission at Ridge in Accra, were reported to have expressed deep concerns over the two tigers that belong to Cheddar, wondering in their neigbourhood.
According to multiple media reports, some residents claimed that “the animals stink. Those animals are held inside an apartment where there is no access to proper fresh air. As soon as the door is open, you sniff a strong, unpleasant smell emanating from them.”
Freedom Jaco Caesar, nicknamed ‘Cheddar’ and formerly known as Nana Kwame Bediako is a real estate mogul, multi-millionaire, investor, and entrepreneur from Ghana.
He is famous as the CEO of Wonda World Estate and Petronia City Development Company. He also serves as chairman of New World Philanthropic Foundation, a charity where he gives back to the community.
He also runs two other companies, Belfast City and Property Management Services and New Africa Construction. All these brands are part of the Kwarleyz Group, where he is President.
He also serves as the co-principal of Capital Nine Zero Fund, which he established with a British multi-millionaire property developer, Azad Cola.
