While Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Adwoa Safo, is trending for buying a luxury car for her son in America, some Ghanaians have raised concerns about her gesture by questioning her choice of a foreign brand over her own father’s Kantanka which is produced in Ghana.
Aside several concerns with the brand, many also believe the Chevrolet Corvette is too expensive for the purpose especially when most Ghanaians are complaining of economic hardship.
The car according to checks online is valued at a little over $60,000, which is almost half a million Ghana cedis.
