Kumawood actor, Samuel Nkrumah aka ‘Remes Kay’ has explained the rationale behind his decision to celebrate his birthday in a cemetery of all places.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with GhPage, the actor revealed that the idea behind his viral birthday celebration was to send an important message to Ghanaians that a birthday is not a plus 1 but rather, minus 1.

According to him, it is important for individuals to understand that life is short, and that their birthdays come only to remind them that death is fast approaching.

He also added that his life has never been the same after the cemetery birthday celebration, as he sometimes feels haunted.
