Blakk Rasta says his move to Accra-based Class FM is backed by a 2-year renewable contract in which he will receive over 15,000 Ghana cedis each month.

Talking about his new deal with blogger, Attractive Mustapha, said that he will start his ‘Taxi Driver’ show on Class FM on 13th June 2022.

“All I said was that years ago my standard was Ghc10,000.00 and this time round I said I will not accept 10,000 because I have improved and become better”.

“We are going to have wisdom on the mountain and African history class but it is obvious things are going to be different from what people know me for”.

The move comes barely a month after he said that he would not take less than GHS15,000 as monthly salary if he was to return to radio.

He made the statement on Citi TV’s Upside-Down show, aired on May 1, 2022, adding that his last salary in 2017 was GHS 10,000.

Blakk Rasta left Zylofon FM on Friday 31st December, 2021 after four years of hosting the station’s most popular show, Taxi Driver.
