The family of the Happy FM presenter Francis Cann, popularly known as Doctor Cann in entertainment circles held his final funeral rites at the Obra Spot in Accra.
The funeral was attended by stakeholders of the entertainment industry including the media and artistes.
Mortal remains were later taken to Dr. Cann’s hometown at Akyem Biene Kotoku in the Eastern Region.
In attendance were Mark Okraku Mantey, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, KK Fosu, Dada KD, ACP Kofi Sarpong, Dadie Opanka, Empress Gifty, Ex-Doe, among others.
Dr. Cann died after a short illness on 25th March, 2022.
Dr. Cann who hosted the Happy FM’s flagship entertainment programme for more than 10 years, also hosts the after drive show of the station.
He left behind a wife and four children.
