Highlife legend, Ofori Amponsah, is not happy about how Ghanaian churches treat musicians.
According to him, most churches in Ghana refuse to invest in young talents, even though they regularly engage their services in church programmes.
Ofori Amponsah was speaking in an interview on TV XYZ’s ‘Legends’ show.
He shared his own experience from the early 1990s, revealing that even though he was singing in a church without any financial rewards, the church refused to support him to produce his gospel album until Daddy Lumba came to his aid.
