Ahead of the release of his next studio album, ‘Bcuz’- Nigerian rapper MI Abaga has proclaimed himself “Africa’s greatest rapper.”
He says he will celebrate his legacy in a special concert on July 10 at the Vibe Concert where he would officially announce a new name to replace ‘MI Abaga’.
In a post on Twitter uploaded on Thursday, Abaga said he will also be announcing his new stage name to coincide with his next studio album.
He also reminded his fans that the very last time he will hold on to the name MI Abaga is when he performs on July 10 at the Vibe Concert.
“After over 15 years as mister incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project because, my new album hard af and it deserves a new name”, he wrote
“My final act as MI will be a performance at The Vibe on the 10th of July, where I will celebrate my legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.”
