Ghanaian video blogger, Kwadwo Sheldon says his decision to start making content for video-sharing platform, YouTube, was the turning point in his life, taking him from the state of joblessness to becoming a business owner.
Speaking in an interview with Ghana Television, the 27-year-old admitted that YouTube has had an enormous positive impact on his life.
“It has changed my life, it has opened doors for me, and it has changed how I see things in this life. And I will always be grateful to whoever invented the internet because it has saved me, and the fact that I’m in a position where I have people working for me is a joy,” he said.
“YouTube or digital media saved me from the claws of unemployment because I don’t know where I would have been if not for it and with what I have been able to do within this short period of time, it’s been crazy.”
With over 370,000 subcribers on his channel, Kwadwo Sheldon is one of Ghana’s most popular content creators on YouTube.
His comedy and satire videos are mostly based on current affairs and trending topics in Ghana.
