Since Shatta Wale’s ‘My Level’ was released in 2018, it has won the hearts of many not only because of its catchy hooks and melody but also due to its inspirational content.
Latest to have spoken about the lyrics of the song is the Founder of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh.

According to the man of God, ‘My Level’ has Christian inclinations.
He told Christian Agyei Frimpong in a interview monitored by ghanaweekend.com on Onua FM’s ‘Anigye Mmre’ that, he once danced to the song at a programme and some people were surprised.
“‘I Know My Level’ was a pure Christian lyrics Shatta Wale put together. If you serve God, you’ll know your level. If you know God, you’ll know your level. If you walk with God, you’ll know your level and if you believe in God you’ll know your level. In fact, my heart goes out to Shatta Wale,” Dr. Lawrence Tetteh noted, while explaining his fondness for the song.

The pastor, establishing his cordial relationship with the dancehall artiste, however, recounted an incident where Shatta Wale hugged him at the airport and breathed out ‘something’ on him.
“I’ve got into trouble with Shatta Wale too because he met me at the airport, I was traveling, he came, he jumped at me. When he breathed on me, something entered me,” he quipped.
He stated that Shatta Wale is able to approach him because he knows he [Lawrence Tetteh] won’t judge him.
“Sometimes we condemn people so much that we are not able to speak into their lives,” he said.
This is not the first time the preacher has publicly declared his love for artistes outside the gospel music industry. He is reported to have had close ties with the late Ebony Reigns when she was alive.
In June, 2022 he was also seen in church singing AK Songstress’s ‘Jonathan.’
Shatta Wale’s ‘My Level’ won Highlife Song of the Year award at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
It was nominated in the Most Popular Song of the Year category in the awards that year.
Since his re-emergence onto the Ghanaian music scene in 2013, Shatta Wale has created a brand riddled with controversies scandals.
That notwithstanding, he still commands a lot of following among music lovers in Ghana.
