We were fighting the same case but Shatta Wale went to plead guilty without telling me — Deportee

Shatta Wale’s former aide, Deportee, has explained the rationale behind his decision to publicly accuse the singer of neglecting him during their trial in court for publishing false news.

In a recent banter on social media, Shatta Wale accused Deportee of attempting to rape his secretary, an allegation Deportee has rubbished.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Deportee said, “we didn’t have a problem with him when we were in prison. But when we came out anytime when we go to court they adjourn the case, so later we had some indifference among us“.

He continued, “it was Shatta who brought a lawyer and the lawyer was standing for all of us. The last time we went to court for Shatta Wale to get bail, we are four you need to let us know what is going on, but you didn’t let us know and all of a sudden you plead guilty“.

“After a short time when Shatta Wale got discharged, he went to Facebook to write ‘now who dey suffer’ everyone can go and check. I have a screenshot of it, so from that time the thing triggered me. Since then, I have to find a way to know what is going, I wanted answers, but I didn’t get answers,” Deportee told Nana Ama McBrown via a telephone interview.

Deportee, Nana Dhope’s PA, Gangee, and Shatta Wale were all taken into custody for spreading false information. This has to do with a publicity gimmick they pulled off to suggest that Shatta Wale had been shot and killed.

It was later established that Shatta Wale conspired with his team members to draw attention to a prophecy by a self-styled prophet called Jesus Ahuofe, who had predicted his death.
