Fransisca Gawugah, aka Sista Afia says her family took her to the United Kingdom (UK) because of her stubborness.
Sista Afia describes her background as “ghetto” even though she claims her parents were well-to-do.
According to her, while living in Ghana at the age of 8, she could go out to pluck mangoes and sell products such as bofrot and drinking water.
Sista Afia was speaking in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM.
“I am not a spoiled child. I have always worked for myself. I sold ‘bofrot’ and water during childhood. I was stubborn so I was flown to the U.K,” she said.
She continued that “I used to live in the ghetto. At age 8, I used to pluck mangoes from the tree in our house and sell them.” she added
