Veteran Kumawood actor, Nana Ofori Agyemang aka Oboy Siki, says Ghana’s current economic situation mirrors the state of the nation approximately four decades ago.
He made the statement during an interview with Ghanaman TV, while accusing the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo for being the cause of the hardship.
“Now, the NPP is killing Ghanaians with hunger. This is a replica of the 1983 famine that killed many Ghanaians. The current economic hardship and high prices of food is the little brother of the 83 famine,” Oboy Siki said.
“The difference between now and 1983 is that there is enough food on the market, but Ghanaians are still complaining because of how expensive the prices are. Now, there is food, but we can’t eat well.,” he added.
