Stonebwoy says he always has debts to pay whenever he organizes his annual Ashaiman To Da World concert.
According to him, patrons of the concert in Ashaiman always break equipment brought by the organizing team because of sheer excitement.
The singer, who made the revelation during an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM, added that in spite of the losses he has to bear, he feels fulfilled each time he performs for the people of Ashaiman.
”Every year, I run at a loss [after the concert] because me my people I know them. Dem dey enjoy aaa dem dey break screen. Dem dey enjoy, dem dey break things,” he said.
Stonebwoy said the positive atmosphere during Ashaiman to the World has helped him to create hit songs, one being ‘Hero’ which he recorded after freestyling it during one of his performances.
“I created ‘Hero’ during my performance and my fans who took videos of it liked it, so I recorded it,” he said
