Shatta Wale has announced an upcoming media engagement tour in Nigeria to promote his brand and music in Africa’s most populous nation.
This follows the entry of Ghanaian musicians Gyakie, Camidoh, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Black Sherif, among others who have used media tours to penetrate the Nigerian market and touch base with their international fans.
Shatta Wale’s decision to follow suit comes with great surprise, as he had been at the centre of a much publicized feud with top Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy.
Burna Boy had angrily replied to Shatta Wale who verbally attacked Nigerians during his Freedom Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 25, 2022.

In his expletive-filled rant, Shatta Wale, said Ghanaian artistes did not need Nigerians to become successful.
