Gospel musician, Esther Asiedu, aka Piesie Esther, says she is open to performing for political parties whose leaders will allow her to use their platform for evangelism.
Speaking in an interview with Kastle FM in Cape Coast, the veteran singer stated that she would not hesitate to mount a political campaign platform, even though she hates politics.
“As for me when it comes to politics, I don’t engage in partisan politics,” she responded when asked if she will ever do a song or perform for a political party.
She continued that she will only sing to spread the gospel and win souls for God.
“Piesie Esther doesn’t do politics because what I know is that I’m singing about the gospel of God. So wherever I would be invited to go and perform and I feel that it’s an avenue to spread the gospel that’s where I go. When it comes to politics I will say that not at all. That’s not what I stand for,” she said
