Veteran actors, Grace Omaboe and David Dontoh, were present at the 1-week memorial service for their late colleague Prince Yawson aka Waakye, who passed away on Friday, August 2, 2022 in Accra.
The funeral will be held on September 30th and October 1, 2022 at the State House, Accra.
The memorial service, which took place at the Accra Tourist Information Centre, was attended by major names in the Ghanaian movie industry and other showbiz stakeholders.
Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono, who Waakye acknowledges as the one who introduced him into acting, was present with other famous veterans including, Adwoa Smart and K.K. Kabobo, Jaggar Pee, Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu, Kofi Faulkner, Joojo Robertson and Nana CK.
Waakye passed away at the age of 65.
