Frank Owusu Kwabena, popularly known Franky 5, has won another award at this year’s National Ghana Gospel Music Awards.
The Hitz FM presenter was awarded Gospel Music Promoter of the Year (radio/TV) award at the ceremony which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
He beat off competition from Emmanuel Kwame Sarpong of Citi TV, Dr. Melody of No. 1 FM, Freda Bioh of J Life FM, Pastor Jerry of Nhyira FM, So Me So of Oyerapa FM and Gospel General of Radio One.
Others in the category were Nii Noi of ATV, Fante Breda of Top FM, DJ Paloma of Zylofon FM, Sir Solomon of C TV and Sampson Bonney of Onua FM.
Last year, Franky5, who is the host of ‘This Is Gospel’ on Hitz FM was adjudged the winner of Gospel Radio/TV Show of the Year at the National Gospel Music Awards.
He was has also won several awards including the Gospel Show Host of the Year award at the 2021 edition of the Radio and Television Personality Awards.
