Social media influencer, Akuapem Poloo says she is now being discussed in the media in India following her conversion to Islam and subsequent adoption of the name, Haniya.
Her announcement comes after an Indian video blogger broke the news of her conversion to his followers online.
Akuapem Poloo however accused some Ghanaians of making attempts to block her shine by bribing bloggers to stop blogging about her.
“I am like David in the Bible, the more you try to kill my shine, the more I will shine. Some people are paying bloggers to stop blogging about me but their agenda wont work. They see me as a threat but they can’t pay all the bloggers to do stop posting me. Their money will get finished.”
The actress shared photos from her conversion process ceremony which was officiated by some men believed to be clerics of the Muslim faith.
