The Police have announced that they arrested 42 suspects during the just ended Ashaiman to the World concert.
The concert held on September 3, 2022 took place at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman.
“The suspects who are being held for various offences, attacked some of the fans with toy guns, cutlasses, knives, scissors and other offensive weapons at different locations towards the end of the concert,” the police report says.

The statement which was posted on the social media handles of the Ghana Police Service also mentions that “items retrieved from them include 2 toy pistols, 10 mobile phones, 5 cutlasses, 5 jack knives, 3 pairs of scissors, 1 wig and a tablet.”
They say the suspects will be taken through the due process of the law.
The 7th edition of Stonebwoy’s ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert was held at the Sakasaka Park in Ashaiman.
Apart from Stonebwoy, other artistes that performed at the programme included Efya, Adina, Sista Afia, D-Black, Amerado, Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Mona 4Reall, among others.
