Kumawood actor, Joseph Ose, popularly known as Wayoosi, has ‘attacked’ his colleague actor, Big Akwes for quarrelling with Baba Spirit’s family over disagreements with funeral arrangements.
According to Wayoosi, Big Akwes’ claim that family members of Baba Spirit abandoned him while he was sick does not mean that the family’s views must be disregarded in his funeral planning.
“If the family took care of him or not, he is from a family. And look at Big Akwes with the bald head fighting with Baba Spirit’s family over funeral arrangements,” he said.
Barely a week after the death of Baba Spirit, Big Akwes, stormed the house of the late comedian, Baba Spirit, to demand for his funeral to be held in Accra instead of his hometown in the Eastern Region.
In a heated encounter which was caught on camera, Big Akwes, told family members of the late actor to cancel all plans to organize his funeral in his hometown and rather focus on Accra, where, he claims, can attract more industry big wigs.

Big Akwes stormed the compound in the company of his colleague, Quappiah.
The two actors argued that they took care of their late friend when he was sick until the day he passed away and that no family member was there to support.
According to popular Kumasi-based video producer, Poleeno, the comedian passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 while on admission at Kotoku Hospital.
Little was heard from the former Adom TV ‘Broken News’ host since he left the station 4 years ago.
In a recent interview on Bryt TV, the comedian revealed that he battled a strange illness which made him paralysed for a whole year. In the same interview, he vowed never to return to TV, because according to him, some people wanted to get rid of him due to his popularity.
However, on July 9th 2022, Baba Spirit, announced that he would be making a comeback with a new television show.
Baba Spirit is best remembered for his much-publicised 2018 exhibition boxing bout against veteran professional boxer Ayittey Powers, which was held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra and screened live on television.
