The 2022 Ghana Music Awards Artsit of the Year, KiDi, has issued an apology to former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama and all other people he attacked in his posts on Twitter in the past.
“I came to be extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved. I want to apologise to everyone for the statements I made, and use this to remind us all to be mindful of the things we say and how they affect people.”
Screenshots of tweets from KiDi’s account ten years ago described former John president John Mahama as useless, Delay as an illiterate and made other disrespectful comments about rapper Sarkodie and broadcaster Anita Akuffo.
He later apologised and asked for forgiveness, adding that he was young and naive when he made those comments.
