Veteran actor and Commercial Manager at GhanaWeb, Ekow Blankson, is reported dead.
Accra-based Hitz Fm shared the sad news on Facebook on Monday October 3, 2022 without disclosing the cause of his death.
Ekow Blankson was known to have starred in movies like Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party, Famous and others.
In 2021, he was appointed as the Commercial Manager of popular news portal, GhanaWeb.
Mr. Blankson worked with media companies including TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited and Multimedia Broadcasting Company as Managing Director, Director of Brands and Corporate Communications and General Manager (Luv FM and Nhyira FM) respectively.
He had a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama) from the University of Ghana, Legon. Ekow also graduated from the Heineken Global Commerce University, Amsterdam with a marketing certificate.
