Shatta Wale is not happy about the current economic situation in Ghana.
According to him, the majority of citizens are frustrated due to the inability of the country’s economic managers to stabilize the economy.
Shatta Wale in a video has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to do something about the current hardships in the country. The artist is of the opinion that the president has done very little to make the cost of living easier for Ghanaians during his tenure.
According to Shatta Wale, comparing former President John Dramani Mahama and President Nana Addo, he believes that the president has done less to make the economy work. He also called out the presidential officials who have failed to tell the president the truth about the state of Ghana’s economy.
“We were in this country that people were saying Mahama was not performing. Now the same people are saying you’re even worse, I’m telling you.”
“It’s just that some of us in this country are cowards”, Shatta Wale flared up.
“Let me tell you the truth about what is happening on the streets. The street is hot Mr. President, the street is hot. I am telling you, the country is not going well”, Shatta Wale added.
