The maiden edition of Praise Achievement Awards will be held on December 18, 2022.
This comes after the nominees were announced by the organisers, God’s Family Music Ministries on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
The scheme is aimed at celebrating gospel musicians and industry players who have excelled in the year under review.
The unveiling took place at the plush Bayview Village located at Atomic Junction on the Haatso stretch, in Accra.
The categories up for the maiden edition include Praise Artiste of the Year, Christian Event of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Best Christian Radio Station, Best Gospel Group, Female Vocalist of the Year, Gospel DJ of the Year, Best Christian Blogger of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year.
Other categories are, Inspirational Song of the Year, Best Gospel Group, Worship Song of the Year, Urban Gospel Artiste of the Year, Worship Artiste of the Year, Best Gospel Music Video, Christian Movie of the Year, Best Chorale Group, New Artiste of the Year, Producer of the Year and Inspirational Song of the Year among others.
