Unlike many young people, John Dumelo Jnr has fallen in love with farming very early.
The first son of popular actor, John Dumelo has gone viral for requesting to go to farm instead of school.
In a video posted on Instagram by his father, Little Dumelo, can be heard telling insisting that he be sent to farm instead of school, much to the surprise of his father who has been one of Ghana’s most visible agriculture promoters.
From his farms in the Volta and Oti Regions, John Dumelo is known for agric products such as yam, ginger and cabbages.
John Dumelo has also changed his name on Twitter to Farmer John.

According to him, his products are moderately priced and that people living in Accra can purchase a tuber for 12 cedis which is approximately 1.2 dollars.
John Dumelo is the founder and owner of Melo Farms.
His company, manufactures locally-made ginger paste under the brand name, Melo Foods.
