A senior high school teacher says his life is under threat after people identified his face in a 2022 campaign advert for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, through the use of his image, his identity was exposed, making it easier for people to question his role in the political campaign.
He explained in an interview with TV3 that he was misled and only paid GHS300 for his role.
He said he has started receiving threats from unknown people who cite his role in the political advert.
“Sometimes, I will be in the room, Friday, Saturday, Sunday without going out because I am afraid if I step out I don’t know what will happen to me. The moment they see you they are angry and they want to beat you because you are part of the reasons why they are suffering. Sometimes they will call you and threaten you.”
