The Ghana Police Service has responded to calls to investigate claims by dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale that his former manager Bulldog has a hand in the murder of artiste manager Fennec Okyere.
In their statement, the police have reached out to Shatta Wale who is cooperating with them to get to the bottom of the matter.
“The Police have made contact with Shatta Wale who is cooperating with us on the matter,” the statement reads.
Shatta Wale has suggested that Bulldog was responsible for the death of Kwaw Kese’s former Manager Fennec Okyere.
In his response to Bulldog’s latest post that the artiste is scared to release his forthcoming ‘GoG’ album, Shatta Wale made a post about Bulldog’s alleged involvement in Fennec Okyere’s murder which happened in 2014..
Shatta wrote on Facebook: “Bull Dog since u r bringing out secrets. You will tell Ghanaians
What happen to Fenicks Murder !! And I am not joking about this time !!
I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how planned that foolish act get ready.
This Akuffo addo won’t give you a murder chance to be on our streets !!!
Watch how this ends !!! You can’t fight time !!!”
Bulldog for the past years had been battling with the court over an allegation of being involved in the murder of the late artiste manager.
On March 13, 2014, Fennec Okyere, was shot dead by some unknown assailant(s) at his Manet Gardens residence on Spintex Road, Accra.
Bulldog got implicated in the case after reports said he had sent threatening messages to the late artiste’s manager prior to his untimely death.
In 2018, Bulldog was discharged after he was arrested and sent to court.
