Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy has reacted to the Black Star squad named to play at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In a tweet he alleged that that some players who are supposed to have been in list, could not make it to the World Cup because of “pay to play.”
“There are players who are supposed to be in the squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay
@ghanafaofficial why?” he wrote.
Earlier today, the Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo named his 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Goalkeepers, Joseph Wollacott and Richard Ofori miss out because of injury.
There’s no place in the squad as well for Joseph Paintsil, Majeed Ashimeru, Mubarak Wakaso and Jeffrey Schlupp.
Captain, Andre Ayew will lead the team in his third World Cup alongside his brother Jordan, Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed.
There is also a place in the squad for Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad and Hearts of Oak talisman, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
