Yaa Pono aka Ponobiom, wants to know why Ghanaian radio stations are no longer playing Christmas carols even though the season is approaching.
The controversial rapper, known in private life as Kojo Ansah Asare, took to Twitter to ask his fans why the popular Christmas song, ‘Jingle Bells’ was not being heard in the streets as it is typical in Ghana between November and December.
He also asked whether the bell had been caught by the dollar, referencing the unprecedented depreciation of Ghana’s currency, Cedi, against the United States Dollar (USD) this year.
