Chairman Wontumi has dragged Kwame A Plus to court again with a fresh contempt lawsuit.
A writ of summons which is currently circulating online states that, the Political Activist is expected to be in court on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
In the writ filed on December 6, 2022, Wontumi says A Plus made some contemptous comments on social media against the judgment of the presiding judge who fined him and three others.
“That my counsel shall contend that the description of the judgment by the respondent as ridiculous and shameful is highly scandalous of this court. That by such statement and description, the respondent is saying that this Honourable Court’s judgement is foolish and stupid judgement. This is a direct insult to the trial judge.”
This follows a recent judgment handed down by a Tema High Court judge, who convicted the musician and three others of contempt and slapped them with a fine of GH¢60,000 each.
