Budding female musician Nafisatu Kassim, better known as Naf Kassi has been crowned the ‘Artist of the Year’ at this year’s Wassaman Entertainment and Business Awards.
Naf Kassi beat stiff competition from “Praise” hitmaker Fameye, Vinsweg, Fiifi, Da Yanney and Joe Laty to win the ultimate prize.
The ‘Yesi Yesi’ hitmaker who bagged three nominations managed to win all. She,however, made history as the first musician to win all her categories at the Wassaman Entertainment & Business Awards.
The awards were received on her behalf by Dj Ixman. Dj Ixman after receiving the awards thanked the media, management, fans, promoters, bloggers, and Djs for supporting and contributing to her brand.
The 2022 Wassaman Entertainment and Business Awards was held at the Bogoso Golden Hotel on Saturday, December 10,2022.
The much-publicised event saw deserving radio presenters and artists being duly awarded for their hard work and crafts.
The 4th edition of the event saw electrifying performances from artistes such as Chris Tales, Morris Makafui, Blaq Mic, Sankofa Crew, Jhoe Saz and many more.,
