Ghanaian shipping and freight forwarding company, Bison Imperial Global Shipping and Logistics, has outlined its plan for the year 2023.

The company made this announcement on Thursday, December 29, 2023 at a press conference held at Cafe Bar Noir in Dzorwulu, Accra.

In the first quarter of the year, they intend to partner EM Production and Adanfopa Media in France for a Europe Tour (Finest Tour).

Bison will be launching a non-governmental organisation, Foundation and Social Corporate Responsibility Projects in the second quarter of 2023.

The third quarter will see a seminar organised by Bision at a University in Ghana and other tertiary institutions. There will also be Bison Branded Excercise Books for underprivileged schools.

Also dedicated to supporting the entertainment industry, they will organise an African tour with Ghanaian artistes and other people in the creative space in the last quarter of the year.

Asked why they decided to venture into the entertainment industry, Henry Raphael Kemausuor, the General Manager of Bison Imperial Global Shipping and Logistics highlighted the role of the arts in socio-economic development.

“We have identified that the entertainment industry can change the ideology of a country. This is too much job creation opportunities in the entertainment sector and the government cannot do it alone . That is the reason the private sector participation is essential in the promotion and investment in the entertainment industry to explore its hidden opportunities,” he noted.

As sponsors of the Finest Tour by DJ ABK GH, Isaac Owusu Nyantakyi Brempong, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bison Imperial Global Shipping and Logistics said DJs are the first point of entertainment from all angels and also entertainment gives them a huge platform for visibility, global penetration and a very positive brand equity of every nation.

“This tour that we did, the team that we moved around with, the people that we engaged at the various locations in all the five locations, all these are all revenue streams,” Brempong noted.

Also present at the press conference were Mensah Emmanuel, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EM Production, Yaw Oppong Agyemang, the Head of Operations at Bison Imperial Global Shipping and Logistics, and Akwasi Boateng, the Public Relations Agent for Bison Imperial Global Shipping and Logistics.

Musicians Abochi and OV, together with DJ ABK GH and MC Nana King also attended the press conference.
