The 33-year-old scrap dealer, Nuhu Sule, who allegedly stole famous American rapper Meek Mill’s phone has made his first court appearance before an Accra Circuit Court on January 4, 2022 and has been charged with stealing.
Nuhu was arrested on 30th December for stealing the US rapper’s iPhone 14 Pro Max. This happened after the famous American rapper took to social media to announce that his phone had been stolen whilst he was trying to make his way among the crowd to perform at Afro Nation.
Nuhu, who was arranged before the court on Wednesday pleaded not guilty of stealing the phone. He has since been remanded in custody with the case being adjourned to January 17, 2023.
